Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 30, 2026

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including: name, email address, phone number, profile photo, work history, qualifications, certifications, license documents, and government-issued ID. Payout banking details are collected by our payout provider on its own hosted pages, not by Betho's Instant Work LLC. We also collect usage data such as shift claims, clock-in/clock-out timestamps, location data (with your consent), and communication records.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: operate and improve the Platform; match workers with suitable shifts; process payments and calculate fees; verify worker qualifications and licenses; communicate about shifts, payments, and account matters; comply with legal obligations; and prevent fraud and abuse.

3. Information Sharing

We share information with: employers (worker profile, qualifications, and ratings for shift matching); workers (employer name, shift details, and location); payment processors (to facilitate transactions); verification services (to validate licenses and credentials); and law enforcement or regulators when required by law. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Location Data

We collect location data when you use the clock-in feature to verify your presence at a shift location, and when you choose the Nearest sort in Find Work to rank shifts by distance. It is not tracked continuously in the background and is not shared beyond what is necessary to verify attendance and display distance. You may disable location services in your device settings, but this may prevent use of the clock-in feature and the Nearest sort.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Transaction records are retained for at least seven years for tax and accounting purposes.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security assessments. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you from your own profile and dashboard screens; correct inaccurate information directly in your profile; request deletion of your account and information (subject to legal retention requirements); ask us to provide a copy of your information; and opt out of non-essential communications. Requests to delete or receive a copy of your information are handled by our team — contact us through the support chat in your dashboard or the Help Center.

8. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may use analytics cookies to understand Platform usage and improve our services. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.

9. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
